I have just shy of a 2.7 from UCLA Biochemistry major, 161 on the LSAT and retaking it in October or December. What do I need to get into a top law school? I also come from a disadvantaged background but I'm not a minority.

With that GPA you need a 170+ to have a chance at a T-14, and probably at least a 172+. Unfortunately, you don't get any leeway for having a difficult major.

Your best bet is to get a couple of years of work experience post UG, score a 172+ and ED to Northwestern. A 2.7 is going to handicap you quite a bit.
