LSAT - time between them a factor?

This is a repost: I took my first LSAT in 2007 with a 162 and my second in early 2009 with a 170. What are my chances at CLS/NYU next year with these numbers? Does the fact that my first LSAT score was 3 years ago count for or against me when admissions officers look at my application as a whole?

Full brief..I graduated with a 3.78 GPA from U. Denver and with good internships during undergrad. I have been working as a corporate paralegal for the past 3 yrs. I'm really concerned about my LSAT score affecting my chances - any advice is appreciated.

Well despite the time between and work experience, a 3.78 170 is probably not getting you into CLS and your chances aren't great at NYU, but an ED may help. But if your set on New York Penn is a good possibility and likely you'll get in.

Would it be more realistic to ED to NYU if I don't have a fair chance at either?
