Cooley, without a doubt.Ildeuce wrote:What do you guys think will be the most likely schools to offer $$$$ scholarship for a 3.88 168 in case I decide to go the super-debt averse route? Just wondering what I'm likely to be looking at so I know which schools to look more into. Thanks for any input!
Yes they certainly would. At least 100k, I'd think. Emory, UIUC and UMN would be full or near full rides. And Vandy would be 75k+.Bildungsroman wrote:WUSTL would likely offer you a very nice scholarship with those numbers.
East coast, preference to the northeast or Florida (in-state).Lawquacious wrote:Where are you looking to go to school (what region)? For a large scholarship you will be looking at a low T1 regional school IMO (full-scholarship to a number of 25-50 schools).
All of these would be phenomenal, I always thought I'd be looking in the 35-50 range for $$$$romothesavior wrote:Yes they certainly would. At least 100k, I'd think. Nope. You're as golden as the golden graham bear...who is very golden.Ildeuce wrote:All of these would be phenomenal, I always thought I'd be looking in the 35-50 range for $$$$romothesavior wrote:Yes they certainly would. that and your lsat score.Lawquacious wrote:Your GPA really helps...
I was a 3.75/168 and got 60 from Vandy, and my numbers twin on TLS got 75 IIRC. A near 3.9 would likely get 75 or close to it.Lawquacious wrote:I doubt Vandy would be 75+, I doubt U of MN would be full, and I also doubt that Michigan will offer money... but then again you do have a nice GPA to go with that 168!
You'll get 72k. I'm calling it now.romothesavior wrote:I was a 3.75/168 and got 60 from Vandy, and my numbers twin on TLS got 75 IIRC. Ain't no money at Mich. Mayyyyybe 8k.Lawquacious wrote:Got it- I stand corrected! (Maybe someone with experience could also weigh-in on UMN and Mich?) Good luck OP.
Sad thing is it is a 3.9 at my UG but LSAC decided to knock off .02... oh well, spilled milk I guessromothesavior wrote:I was a 3.75/168 and got 60 from Vandy, and my numbers twin on TLS got 75 IIRC. Mich would be max about 30K, and it would really depend on how much they liked the whole package...there's a solid likelihood OP gets nothing from them, but I think it's probable s/he'd get in.Lawquacious wrote:Got it- I stand corrected! Yeah I doubt much money at Mich as well. But definitely full at UIUC, near full at UMN, and 2/3-3/4 at Vanderbilt.holydonkey wrote:Ain't no money at Mich. Mayyyyybe 8k.Lawquacious wrote:Got it- I stand corrected! (Maybe someone with experience could also weigh-in on UMN and Mich?) Good luck OP.
