Well they'll know you are obligated to attend without any money, so they really have no incentive to give you money.ScrabbleChamp wrote:My employer is going to subsidize my law school costs in return for a contractual agreement to work for my employer for a period of time to be determined by how much money they put out. So, I'm looking to get as much of a scholarship as possible, so as not to put myself in a situation where I'm obligated to work for the same company for the next 30 years (hyperbole). I read the interview on this website with the Dean of NW, and he said scholarships are given out on a first-come, first-serve basis, so I figured applying ED would mean I'd be the first to be considered for scholarship money. Is this logic not sound? And, I'm not necessarily dead set on NW, but, I love the campus and from what I've seen and read, the atmosphere there is much more up my alley.
Got it. Thanks. Out of curiosity, were you able to get any money when you were finally able to apply? I'm thinking about the AJD program... I'm working on a presentation to my boss to see if they'd prefer that (AJD) rather than the normal 3 year program.Well they'll know you are obligated to attend without any money, so they really have no incentive to give you money.
Also I applied and got in ED this year. And the financial aid paperwork wasn't available for a while after I got in, and after a lot of people got in.
Apply the first day apps are open, and you'll get in, probably with money.
Also you might be an ideal candidate for the AJD program. Last year they handed out some full rides for that.
No but I wouldn't get money no matter what. My GPA was way too low. In fact I wouldn't have gotten in without EDing.ScrabbleChamp wrote:Got it. Thanks.
