3.96/167 T-5?
If you're going to dream, may as well dream big.
I have a 3.96 GPA UG from an average school. Expecting test scores in 163-167 range (stuck in Iraq, don't test for a couple of months). But I feel I have some other decent quals: raised as a missionary in Brazil, special operations veteran of multiple counter-... missions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Colombia, and other places, good letters of recommendation. Any guesses on chances of T-5? T-14? T-25? ... you can see where this is going.

T7 - T14 would be pretty good guesses if you get 167.
165 or higher if you want T25.

Doesn't Stanford take a few kids with those kinda iffy numbers if they have remarkable softs?? Regardless I am envious and you should end up somewhere really great if your lsat is strong and write about what appear to be some pretty epic softs.
Don't stress out too much. You'll prob have some $$$ headed your way too

this is not true, because law school predictor is already generous... your probably somewhere in somewhere between 7-14. With the GPA good chances at berkley, duke, cornell, and maybe gerogetown. With smaller chances at at the other. I would put you at extremely small chance even with your resume at t6, with a 167 lsat. Continue to study and try to kill the LSAT and if you can do 172 then you have a good chance at almost all the t6.Teoeo wrote:lawschoolpredictor.com and then assume slightly better results for good softs.

With your softs, I'd say Stanford/Chicago/NYU could happen in the T6.
But my prediction is out of the T6 an in everywhere else.

Thank you all for the input. I'm working hard on the LSAT, but Iraq gets in the way often.

I'm pretty sure special ops will help significantly, but I've been told I don't know much about military cycles before, so don't take my word for it.

With that GPA you have a LONNNGGGG shot at Stanford....worth an app fee bc of your softs. (with a 167)
by long shot I mean one of the last taken off the waitlist.
