Top Law Schools

Hi all,

I've lurked this board for quite some time but never really posted anything. I took the LSAT in june (158) and sept (163) 09 and didn't know about TLS. Shortly thereafter, I found out about it and took the LSAT in june and received a 167...I was testing in the 170s throughout my prep time in May, but got sick near the end of the month and was heavily congested during the test. Additionally, during the test, the air conditioning was off (making it 80 degrees in the room) and random leaf blowers were lurking near the test room. LSAT is including a "letter" about this with my score. I'm somewhat worried about having three tests under my belt. I was told by the school I attend that they would be happy to talk to LSAC about letting me take the test again (if that's what I want). That being said, I have a 3.82 from a large public school and am going to be receiving a Master's Degree in Applied Economics in the next few weeks.
I have checked all the websites posted in regards to statistical predictions but I would like to know what you guys think. Where would you apply if you were me?

BU would be my top pick if I were you.

I am not quite sure how three test scores (many points apart) will affect your cycle though.

I took twice (164, then 166) and applied to roughly 21 schools with the same GPA

any idea where you want to practice?

I got BU, BC, WUSTL, GW, Illinois, Emory, UGA, Fordham and 3 others plus 2 WLs in the 10-15 range (rankings)

Sorry to hear about the rough conditions but I think you'll be fine make sure you give yourself a good range of schools

I would really like to practice in the California, the Northeast, or the Southeast (I know this is a really broad range, but I really don't see myself enjoying anything else :/ ). I would love to go to Berkeley, Penn, or Cornell...But I also like UCLA, USC, and UT-Austin. Thanks again for the feedback

Cornell (maybe).

Penn and Berkeley are beyond reaches.

If the OP is applying to schools that take the highest lsat, why or how would multiple scores affect his application cycle?

I think you're good for the latter three (good as in 50/50 chances imo), and of course the former three are stretches. Good luck!
