Bored and starting to think I might as well. But to make this more special-snowflaky to avoid "go check LSP" things:

Underprivileged background (food stamps, etc, growing up), Mexican-American, went to (local undistinguished public) undergrad just because I needed something to do with myself until I inevitably met Mr. Right and had lots of babies. Met Mr. Right. Planned wedding to Mr. Right. Realized I was in fact really, really gay. Life spontaneously imploded. Between deliberate mommy-tracking and that, my work history is a smidge erratic. Almost no extracurricular activities, though I have done a fair amount of volunteering post-graduation, but not for really notable causes. Mostly local things.

I will be retaking the LSAT in October (my PT average is about 177; given that I got the 171 due to nerves, I'm thinking 174 is a reasonable target) but I'm curious as to where I stand with the original score and my abysmal lack of any softs other than the diversity angle which I have in spades. Thoughts?

Id say you have great chances at pretty much every school except HYS who are always a tossup anyway. Apply wherever you could see yourself. Good luck.

I think so, too. URM plus it sounds like you are also a nontraditional student. Plus, you have great numbers. Plus, it sounds like you have serious life experience to use for your PS.
