3.16 B.S. Biological Sciences from UC Davis (first two years completed at a CC and inclusive of a Communications minor)

Non-URM

June 2010: 160 (-3 LG, -11 LR, -12 LG) Had issues completing LR sections and all 4 RC passages within the allotted time. Prepped for about 2 months using a Powerscore course (completed all HW and an additional 7 PT's outside of the class). I was PT'ing in the mid 150's but noted improvement the week prior to the exam.

Not really any great softs, interned for a patent attorney for about 6 months. Checked my numbers with Law School Predictor previously but wanted to see what any members might recommend and what might be necessary to see $$$. I do plan on retaking in October.

UC Davis (long shot if any at all)
Santa Clara University
San Francisco University
McGeorge

I had similar numbers and got into USF at sticker and McGeorge with some money. Also waitlisted at Santa Clara. I don't think UC Davis is gonna happen unless you boost your lsat but the other three are possibilities. Apply early and Good luck!

I wouldn't attend McGeorge at any price unless you want to work in the central valley or sierra foothills.

USF/SCU at least you have a shot at living in a nice location. But I wouldn't attend either one of them if it costs more than $100k debt.
