Do I have a chance at either NYU or Columbia ED?

170 LSAT
3.26 at Johns Hopkins... graduated with Departmental Honors in one of my majors.
3 years work experience in top 4 talent agency, with desire to pursue Entertainment Law.

Is there one school that I have a better chance at getting into ED? I know both are reach schools. Also, is it worth retaking the LSAT? I didnt' finish two sections, so would have otherwise gotten a 178 ughhh.

retake if you want nyu or cls. also bolded is silly, akin to "I would have totally made that putt if I'd only... uh.. made it"

I know it's silly... but I had to move desks twice during the test because of lighting issues on my side of the room, and both sections I moved during, I didn't quite finish, and lost 8 points. Should have canceled *shrug*

Lighting issues? lol high maintenance much? Your not getting into either of those schools even with ED. Retake and stop bitching about eight points and lighting issues.

Lighting issues being that they moved our group of desks because the lights kept flickering on and off above us, and then in the new section, they had to turn the lights off. We didn't get any extra time.

You are below the LSAT median and well below the GPA median for both schools. In other words, there's not much of a shot. There's nothing wrong with throwing up a hail mary, but your best option is likely to either retake and get the score up (it's still going to be tough with your gpa) or if you want to use an ED app to have a shot at getting into the best school possible, use it at MVP or NU.

patriot is right OP....ED at either NYU or columbia would be a waste. either retake or ED some place else.
the only T14 schools you have a shot at with your current stats are Michigan, UVA, northwestern (if you have WE), gtown, and cornell.

realistic reach:
gtown
UVA


target:
cornell
northwestern (if you have WE)

strong target:
michigan

I would ED at Michigan to secure an acceptance there. but it would be okay to pick any of UVA, northwestern, or michigan.

ED Michigan only if you like working in India.
