your upward trend and softs help, but only marginally, an addendum is a must explaining what happened.

UVA
Michigan
Duke
Georgetown
UCLA

probably wait-listed maybe in/maybe out

I think you have a pretty good shot at the others.

That's a very good question. I guess I just didn't really think about it. I'm assuming that would be a live option since you suggested it but I read in passing once that they seemed to like high GPA's. If it is a live option for me then I would definitely be interested.

I've heard, and experienced, just the opposite.

I applied at the deadline this year for the T14 (minus Boalt and Y,S) , and got a few WL, and the only school to accept me right off the bat was Cornell. It's definitely worth applying.

Me = 171 LSAT , with a 3.29 that became a 3.32 when I sent in updated transcripts while under review.
