3.84 / 170, good softs? - Any shot for t6?

Hey all,
So, like many of the new topics on here I am a June '10 LSATer. Scored a 170, and am beating myself up about it (my PT average was 174-175). However, am pretty sure I am not going to retake.
Anyways, I was hoping you guys could not just evaluate me purely on the numbers, but also offer me any advice on getting into a t6 (HYS (Haha, humor me) or CCN). I DO realize my numbers suck for that tier, but I am hoping that the fact that I worked for a reputable strategy consulting firm for a year and will be doing microfinance / rural entrepreneurship work in India for a year under a prestigious fellowship (sponsored by former US president) will make me stand out a bit. Maybe not. For you all to judge lol.
Miscellaneous softs include top 20 UG, president of student Org, blah blah probably doesn't matter.
If t6 doesn't happen, do you guys see $$ for me at any t14? Unless something goes terribly wrong, I should at least get into most of the lower t14?
Sigh...

I think you would be in at NYU, maybe Columbia if you do ED.

Thanks for the input.
Thought Id give this thread a polite BUMP since this forum has calmed down a bit since the June score release.
In terms of HYS, I realize I am probably a definite out at HY, but do you guys see me having a shot at Stanford, due to their emphasis on soft factors? And Im not terribly below their numbers at least, since my Lsat seems at median, and my GPA only about .03 below median.
Anyways, if you guys could give me a in / out / WL at the following thatd be awesome. Any tips for strengthening my app at the below schools would be especially appreciated. thanks for the help in advance.
Yale
Harvard
Stanford
Columbia
Chicago
NYU
Berkeley ($?)
Upenn ($?)

I would definitely write the Why Penn optional essay. Seems to make a difference for a lot of applicants.

I think you're about 50% at NYU, about 30% at Columbia/Chicago, and in at the lower T14. I wouldn't ED anywhere since you also have a small shot at Stanford and most likely money at several lower T14s.

my guesses..
Y- out
H- maybe wl
S- wl --> in? they say they care a lot if you have people write specific recs about stanford, ooo and aww over them, etc...
Co- wl -- > in
NYU - in
Ch- in
Berk- FR (faculty review... where they make you wait forever). then who knows (but they say softs matter here more)
Penn, UVa, Mich- in, possibly with some $$.
Duke, Georgetown, Northwestern, Cornell- obviously in, but I'd wager you'd get decent $ at at least one of these.
hope that's vaguely helpful. also, something i wish someone had told me: applying at schools that might give you $$ gives you a big of leverage to negotiate with the school you want. no need to drop below the t14 for you tho.

Why would you not retake?
You are the exact example of when to retake .

Maybe you shouldn't listen to the people who "adviced" you. Just my 2 cents.

You mean don't listen to professors, advisors, college deans, corporate recruiters, practicing attorneys, and ivy law school grads?
I am thorough

No, I mean that with a 4.0 and a 170+ you should be able to spell advised.

Apparently GPA and LSAT doesn't measure your spelling abilities ... I think it was designed that way.

You know, I know. I am stubborn, I want someone to acknowledge that I am special! lol
When I am ready to try for a 180, I will do it. In the mean time, I hope I get in with a lowly 170.

THIS
One of the attys. I worked for asked why I prepped because I was smart and could obviously walk in and make 95th%tile and go to UF like he did.

HYS, so according to TLS, it is lowly indeed.
