Non-URM, my softs aren't mind-blowing. I entered my numbers on LSN/LSP, but it gave me a lot of "Considers," and I was wondering if anyone had any insight to share. Or should I maybe wait until after this upcoming semester and see if I have any improvement in GPA? Thanks!

apply to your top schools early. You have high grades and an excellent score. the Top 14 will answer- maynbe not HYS, but the rest are a good possibility. Start doing the applications now, and on october 1st, mail them out.
Good job and good luck

CCN is almost definitely out. I suppose you could try ED at NYU, but I still doubt it.
You ought to get a few acceptances from MVP and ND.
Georgetown and Cornell should be looking good, perhaps with a little $$.

How would someone in this situation expect to fare in the 15-20 range?
Clearly these numbers would give a decent shot at admission, but I am wondering if one could expect decent merit scholarships and would it be enough to take the money over higher ranked schools at sticker.

Bump. I've been doing research, and I'm starting to really love UVA, except there's no way I can afford to pay sticker. Do I have any chance at $$$ by applying Sept. 1st/Maybe ED, or should I re-take and apply later in the cycle?
Thanks for any input.

With your set of stats, I think you're in everywhere except HYSCCN.
Good luck!

^ This. I would not ED anywhere since every T14 outside HYSCCN is a good chance.

UVA is an okay chance, not great. Excluding URMs and non-traditionals, people with a 170 and a 3.7-3.8 had the results of:
6 accepted
9 waitlisted
So your chances at UVA are probably less than 50%, but applying early would help.
