LSAT-163 (taken once)

GPA: 3.85 from a top public

I have pretty strong softs (national finalist for a truman/marshall type scholarship, founded a student organization that donates food to homeless shelters, etc)

What are my chances of getting into Boston College or Emory? I'm considering retaking in October (I just got my score from June)

Emory? Basically none. They had a pretty hard LSAT wall at 166 this year.

BC? Maybe. But I'd retake so I could get in with money, as you probably won't get any if you get in.

I was waitlisted and ultimately let into BC with a 164 and 3.61.

I would say you have a decent shot at BC, but don't expect any money. I would retake the LSAT and go for a 166+ (though I just retook and it was a killer studying for that stupid thing again)...PS I ended up with a 166 (sadly)
