I am a 25 year old white male, I have a bachelors in History from the University of Kentucky, where I graduated with a 3.7 GPA, for the past three years I have been teaching AP and regular U.S. History at a high school in Kentucky, I have a 169 LSAT score, and am working on my personal statement. Here are my top ten(and safety) could you tell me which of these schools I have a decent shot of getting into:
1. Cornell
2. Duke
3. Virginia
4. Georgetown
5. Northwestern
6. Vanderbilt
7. Boston U
8. Illinois
9. Emory
10. Boston C
and my safety: Kentucky

okay, topbloke, you don't have to be a jerk, I have an idea, but I wanted to validate that from past, present, and future law students.

and thanks, Legal eagle, I've used that, but don't really know how accurate that is.

Since you're not a splitter, barring any mind-blowing softs (olympic medalist, nobel prizes, etc) and/or criminal records, I would think lsp would be fairly accurate.

Nobody here is going to be more accurate as an individual than law school predictor and law school numbers.

Okay, do you think it will help my chances at all being a teacher? and I know a lot of people that are applying to these schools have for more impressive undergrad schools then the University of Kentucky, will law schools make that a factor?

Being a teacher could help you if they are deciding between you and an equally qualified candidate and the school in public interest based. Had you gone into Teach for America, Peace Corps or some other more selective program it would have been a better soft but still probably not a game changer.

And your Undergrad doesnt matter much when applying to law school.

Sorry for the people on here, OP. I guess they think there shouldn't even be a "what are my chances?" forum cause LSP exist. But since there is one, I'll play along and give my best guess.

1. Cornell - In if applied early enough
2. Duke - WL, admit
3. Virginia WL, most likely In if ED
4. Georgetown, In
5. Northwestern, WL
6. Vanderbilt, In
7. Boston U, In
8. Illinois, In w/ $$
9. Emory, In w/ $$
10. Boston C, In
