Law School Predictor 3.0
Three days till it comes out (June 22nd).
How accurate has this application been, it's often refereed to by posters on this site. Have people here who've already been admitted found it helpful? I have to admit, I'm eager for the new version to come out with the updated stats, I'm really eager to apply and can't wait till the season starts.
For those that apply on the first day possible, hoe long does it take usually to hear back I wonder - though I know this changes application to application.

Re: Law School Predictor 3.0
I'm pretty excited as well. Since i'm not a splitter I think it will be a great tool for what to expect from my cycle, although I already know i'm going to be blanketing the T14 so it won't really affect where I apply to.Xnegd wrote:Three days till it comes out (June 22nd).

From what i'm heard about the wait, it depends, but generally it can take a few months. Although if you're autoadmit it may be much quicker. And other things such as Cornell (?) EA and Duke priority track I think will let you hear back much faster than you would otherwise.

Re: Law School Predictor 3.0
Yeah, it's helpful. I was given two "Considers," two "Strong Considers," and one "Admit" when I used the program before my cycle (I applied to five schools in total). I was accepted to the SCs and the Admit, and rejected from both of the Considers. It should give you a pretty good idea of your chances.Xnegd wrote:Three days till it comes out (June 22nd).

Unfortunately, for a big chunk of the EAs, this in no way proved true at all.Knockglock wrote: And other things such as Cornell (?) EA I think will let you hear back much faster than you would otherwise.

Yah, I'm excited. Looks like a fair amount of new features, and the new data always helps.

I predict it's nothing more than an exercise in mental masturbation.Xnegd wrote:Three days till it comes out (June 22nd).

Lol, yea it' not up yet. The people in charge are probably just enthusiastic few who do the site in their spare time. Seeing as it's free and all, there is no incentive to be punctual. It'll probably be up later today.

The LSAT could come out any day now! did you see how they've been releasing scores 4 days early the past couple of years? which would make it Thursday.Xnegd wrote:The LSAT doesn't come for another week so I won't use it till then anyways.

Yes I know, but I'm very, very eager to get my score so I'm trying to be calm and tell msyelf it could still be quite a wait, so I should relax.
Lol, this isn't helping that.
p.s. When said it's be in by tomorrow evening, did you mean Today or Wednesday?

Re: Law School Predictor 3.0
I keep telling myself in my mind they WILL come out thursday, so I will be pretty disapointed if they do not. Plus Friday is no good for me, I'm not near a computer and I'm terrified that I will get the email on my bberry (which sometimes skews messages if they have logos in them) and I won't be able to see it.Knockglock wrote:The LSAT could come out any day now! did you see how they've been releasing scores 4 days early the past couple of years? which would make it Thursday.Xnegd wrote:The LSAT doesn't come for another week so I won't use it till then anyways.

Does anyone know if the lsac email will plainly provide the score or only tell you the score is available for viewing on the website? (And then you have to check the website anyway)

I think it tells you your score and your percentile straight up.

Re: Law School Predictor 3.0
K. And I'm guessing there is no point in checking the lsac website b/c as soon as its available on the website it will be emailed (no delay).Xnegd wrote:I think it tells you your score and your percentile straight up.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
