With a 3.65/175+, you should get in everywhere except HYS, where your GPA is too low without extraordinary softs. LSP uses index scores and should not be trusted for splitters and for HYS (especially YS).

I got a 178 cold on the LSAT and have been testing between 177 and 180 on PTs I've taken since. Softs are not fantastic: had a couple jobs, founded an undergraduate law review at my school, and wrote and produced two independent short films starring a decently well-known Hollywood actor.

Assuming (and understanding that this is a big assumption) a 178 on the LSAT this October, how are my odds at

Yale
Harvard
Stanford
Columbia
NYU
Chicago
Penn
Virginia
Duke
GULC
Vandy

I've spent a lot of time on law school predictor, but I'm not confident about its predictive abilities in some cases. For instance, with these numbers, it says I'm an admit at Stanford, which I find pretty hard to believe, especially given the school's attitude toward GPA. I was hoping you guys might be able to provide some more insight. Thanks!
Out at HYS

In at CCN, Duke Gulc and Vandy, YP WL at Penn and UVA.

A 177+ and a 3.7 will give you a slim shot at Harvard with a solid application. With the 3.65 you are looking at a waitlist - > deny. 3.7 tends to be a soft GPA floor at Harvard for non-URMs (check LSN to verify).

Unless you're counting on summer school, you won't be able to count fall grades unless you apply in early January.

Whoa there overacheiver.

If you can score near 180, apply everywhere you're interested in, but you'll more than likely get dinged by HYS.

In that case, bust your ass junior year with a 3.9-4.0, apply with a 3.75/175+ and enjoy Harvard.
