Hi,
I'm in my junior year at Middlebury and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea about which schools to consider applying to....

GPA: 3.2
LSAT: 174
URM

GULC, Cornell and Michigan are on my list but mostly because I like what I've read/heard about them, not because I think I'm likely to get in...

Basically everywhere in the T14 since that 174 plus the URM status will give you a shot at any school

All of them. Email and ask for fee waivers.

Doesn't count as URM.

oh...I thought URM included all hispanics. Are there a lot of non-Mexican (I'm assuming they count as urm) hispanics in law school?

Puerto Ricans and Mexican-Americans count. The issue isn't how many X are there in US law schools, but has more to do with US minorities which are under-represented in the practice of law. Hence, AA, PR, Mexican-Americans, and Native Americans get URM boosts (and the boosts are different depending on the minority); I think that is all, but it is at least the main ones.

So if there were a ton of Peruvians in the US, and they were under-represented, you might get a boost.

Yea so now disregard the "all T14" comment. You are of T3 and Berkley for sure. You might have a tiny shot at Columbia, NYU and Chicago and probably have a decent shot at the rest of the T14.

Top 6 and Berkeley are out, but you have a shot at the rest of the T14.
