If you want to end up in DC y apply to Canadian schools? They're not even ABA accredited.

Yeah, I'm also confused why Canadian schools are on here, but perhaps you have other places on your list of places to live.
Anyways, I think more info would be needed to talk about the canadian schools. You might be in much better shape if your overall GPA has good and bad years in it. Osgoode takes your best two years to calculate GPA. Don't know about McGill. UBC drops, I think, about a semester. And I'm not sure about the other two, but it's common practice for Canadian law schools to count only some portion of your UG years. If it's not the case that you have a bad year or two pulling down your GPA, then you could be worse off since theyre also known to favor GPA a lot more (from what i've read, it's about 75/25 or so, depending on the school). Youd probably be good at Western, though, from the little i know about them.

ALso wondering why you're not considering UVa, they take splitters and are near DC. With a 166 I wouldn't bother, but if you do hit 170 ED'ing would give you a great shot.

I completely agree with the predictions here, but would just add that a 170 is pure YP waitlist at American. Carry on.

Canadian law schools tend to weigh LSAT scores & GPAs equally, although at least one Canadian law school states that it gives GPA 70% weight & LSAT score 30%.
