What is your ethnicity?
Assuming you are a non-URM:
172+ for ccn
174+ for hys

Sounds like you're on pace then. I started with a 157 and ended up with a 174. I had a high GPA, not a 4.0 however, and managed CCN. Good luck.

Appreciate it. Any thoughts on what I would need for the lower half of the T14, like duke, uva, and g town?

dude, you have a 4.0. look at the god damn median lsat for the schools you want and aim for that. if Yale is 171-176, then try to land somewhere in there. it's not rocket surgery bro.

Chill out broseph I'm just trying to get an idea from TLS and see what their experiences have been, and also to see how this cycle has impacted both the LSAT and GPA ranges for schools. No need to start an argument, just looking for honest responses. Thanks anyway though

I don't know what rocket surgery is, but it sounds really difficult.

I'd say high 160s to low 170s. If you score above say a 172, I'd also expect some waitlists. Those schools are pretty much all known for yield protection-waitlisting candidates with exceptional numbers who aren't likely to attend in order to keep their acceptance rate low for usnwr rankings.
Just go to law school predictor and punch in your numbers though, it's pretty accurate for the most part. Also, try law school numbers.
Moreover, HYS is super unpredictable even with exceptional numbers. Especially Yale and Stanford. If you have time, I'd still try to strengthen my softs in some way--possibly some sort of philanthropy, clubs, mock trial etc.
Also, your personal statement and supplemental essays (depending on which schools you're appying to) will be important. This is especially true at Yale, Stanford, Berkeley and Penn.

Sorry might sound like a noob but is $ one year paid for and $$ two years paid for etc?

$, $$, and $$$ refer to how big the scholarship you receive is
I'm not sure on the exact amounts the symbols are supposed to suggest, but I'd say something like:
$=10-15k/yr
$$=15k-25k/yr
$$$= >25k/yr
If you could grab somewhere around a 173+, I'd say it's pretty likely to see up to $$ at CCN. 176+, probably even more.

I agree with the general ranges of scores for CCN and HYS posted above. However, I can't stress enough that applying early could make a big difference. 172/4.0 could be in @ H early in the cycle and a WL if you apply in January.
Also, while it's not necessarily a bad idea to get a LOR from the basketball coach, do make sure that, cumulatively, your academic references are able to get across fully your academic potential. At the top schools, it doesn't seem like non-academic references make a big difference, if any (unless they're truly exceptional - for your situation, something along the lines of tangible evidence that the team absolutely would not have won the Final 4 if you hadn't come up with the brilliant idea to do so-and-so, or something like that).
Good luck! You're (a little less than) halfway there with that 4.0!

Appreciate the responses. I already bought the powerscoree bibles and am planning on taking the june 7th test. Also, I have two academic LOR lined up but they aren't going to be anything that would set me apart from other T14 applicants. Starting my prep tomorrow, hopefully I don't burn out ha. Thanks again

Pop in a couple hypothetical scores and see what you got. Disclaimer: no one REALLY knows what you need to get in somewhere. We are all just guessing, since each cycle presents different trends. LSP will give you a pretty good idea of the range you need to be in.
