Pick one of MVP and ED there.

After actually getting a 170+, of course.

Oh, yes, that part is kind of crucial.

I just calculated my "adjusted" undergrad gpa, it's a 2.92 from a state school, do you think this puts me out of reach of MVP or GULC?

Why would you assume that you'll get a 170? Why not just get it and then ask us that question? You don't have an LSAT score; how are we supposed to know? That's why lawpredictor is for.

What are you a sophomore/junior? In that case you could raise your GPA and have a better shot at top 10

You seem a bit young to be thinking of going to law school.

I've already graduated with a double major undergrad with the 2.92 (3.02 unadjusted). I'll finish a M.A. of Economics in a few weeks, and on my last 3 practice tests got 173 so I feel confident I can crack 170. For those of you wondering about my age, I graduated a few years early.

As I posted on another thread, LSAT practice test scores are the equivalent of a home-schooled student's teacher recommendation.

This was not a great cycle for splitters. Look through LSN. That having been said, score a 173+, and APPLY EARLY (before 11/1)

So, let me get this straight:

1). You have two degrees (2.92), and graduated at 16-17.
2). Almost finished with an M.A. (3.0- this is hard to do in grad school)
3). You're 19

Hmmmm. Sorry to say, but you're full of it. This is all hypothetical stuff. I'll even make a bet that your still at a J.C. My reasoning is if you're some kind of boy genius who skipped high school for college, you're GPA would be a lot higher. Also, attaining a 3.0 in grad school is tough because if your GPA drops below 3.0 twice, you're normally booted out of the program.

How early can I apply if I take the October LSAT's? Do I have to wait for my score? I heard it takes four weeks.

What? You graduated from college at 17-18 years old (younger than most students are when they start college) and you graduated with two degrees? And now you're 19 and finishing up an M.A.? Sorry, I'm not buying.

I might believe all this, but young graduates like these have high GPAs, not sub-3.0's. I call bullshit as well.

My thoughts as well. This kid would have needed to be some super-genius to pull this off, not a sub-3.0.

Disagree. GPA is about effort, and this guy may have been racing through college as fast as he could. A lot of the early finishers have subpar GPA (though usually not this bad or this fast).

Get a couple years under your belt, grow some chest hair, ED to NU.

This is kind of a dumb stereotype. Not every genius kid who's smart enough to go to college early is smart and mature enough to pull a 4.0 there. Those are just the ones you hear about in the news, so people assume that's the only kind there are. It's not true.

I hate to be the guy, but it is possible, especially from a state school. My UG has a joint enrollment program with my HS where you can take alot of courses for your entire HS senior year (~30 credits) and then you can take classes the summer after HS and go year round from there on out. Also, some of the dual degrees or double majors are only 130 hours, which is a typical degree anyways... (at least eng.) I had a friend in HS who did this and graduated at 19 I believe it was pretty near to her 19th Bday. But, I still think OP is flame... just wanted to point out the possibility. (not to mention AP courses too, a friend of a friend at GT started with like 40+ hours after HS using Joint Enrollment and AP (although this kid was wicked smart) hence the BS call on the 3.0 and howd you get into grad school with that GPA anyways?

change your name and re-do undergrad. Given that you're only 19, you could totally pull this off. As someone in law school now, I would gladly pay to have the chance to do undergrad again.
