Top Law Schools

I will graduate with an MA in political science from a T10 school with a mediocre GPA (3.3-3.5). As an undergrad I had a 3.4 GPA and I scored a 170 on the LSAT. Given the fact that my GPA in the grad program is basically equal with my undergrad, I was wondering how this is going to affect my chances at the lower tier T14 -- T20. Do I benefit from having the MA degree? Or does my pedestrian GPA cancel out any benefit or even detract from my application? Im worried that Adcoms wont like my lack of improvement from undergrad to grad. Thanks!

I'd think with your 170 and 3.4 (I averaged) GPA you'd have a good shot at cornell and below. I think if you ED somewhere early you probably will get in without any benefit from your MA. I don't know if it takes away any since it isn't bad and they don't report it.
