3.03/168 + Worthwhile(?) GPA Addendum and Upward Trend

Post by motedust » Sun Feb 28, 2010 11:18 pm

So low GPA, decent LSAT. Death of only parent freshman year forced me to transfer and pull out a bad year of grades including two Fs, a D+, and multiple Cs. Went from reallllyyy bad grades to dean's list last three semesters (most likely this one too) with 3.6-3.85 each semester. 2 years varsity tennis. Barely any WE. Have applied to these schools within the last month and I got a LSAC fee waiver so I applied to a bunch. Thanks for your insight!!

i applied with similar numbers (and no GPA explanation) in december and got into GW, ND and WashU. So from a pure numbers perspective id say you have a shot at all of them (maybe not USC) im not sure how much the late app will hurt.

Well cheers thanks for the info, appreciate the help! Especially since those schools are the ones I am really interested in (+ Wake)!! Congratulations and hope I get some of the same results even though I'm applying so late!

You're probably in at WUSTL and IU at least, the rest of the T30s will be interesting but you have a shot at a bunch of them, at least WLs
