Top Law Schools

Hi everyone,

I am an undergrad at Georgetown, with a double major in English/Econ. I have a 3.9 GPA and got a 164 on the lsat , with URM status (Hispanic)

I applied to the following schools; any guesses as to where I can get in, or at least waitlisted?

UPenn
Georgetown
Duke
Notre Dame
UNC
UVA
UMD

Didn't find out about Early Assurance until this summer, I know, I wish I had...

According to Law School Predictor, your're an admit everywhere from Cornell on down. Congrats.

If I had to guess, I would say you will get into UMD, UNC, and perhaps Notre Dame. I'd say rejections at a majority of the rest of them with a waitlist or two thrown in.

OP's URM. I did about that well with similar numbers, and I'm not a URM.

I am hispanic as well, with a better LSAT but worse GPA than the OP. I did not get into any of Georgetown, UVA, Duke, or Penn, but perhaps OP has some good softs working in his/her favor.

If you'd be happy with UVA you can still switch your app to ED which would give you a much better shot.

Hey thanks for the comments... I especially like the idea about switching to ED, I didn't realize any schools were still accepting that.

I just sent my ED form to UVA-- I will report back to let you guys know what happens. If anyone else has any input, let me know!

Damn, a 2-hour turnaround? Did you fax in the ED form, and if so to what number? Congrats!

Thnks-- yeah I could not believe how quick it was, but I turned in my app last week do I guess that helped. And yes, I faxed the form this morning at like 11, the number is on the "contact us" page of the law school site, just look for the numbers specific to admissions
