Likely choosing between this school and UVA (already in there).

Already applied, albeit a bit late (Dec 29 IIRC)

Just haven't heard yet. Complete late last week. UVA spoiled me with a quick response.

Heres to hoping you're right, I doubt I'll get much $$ at UVA (being my only other real contender; if I don't get into Mich this is where I will go). That could make Michigan an easy decision.

I applied right about the same time as you - higher LSAT, lower GPA & a why Michigan essay that was very specific about ties I have to the school.

Definitely one of my top choices and would be extremely happy if I had the chance to attend.

Also, congrats on UVA -- a year ago I knew nothing about them and during my school search I've been extremely impressed with them and it's definitely another place I'd put alot of consideration into if I actually get in. The hidden fee waiver was also the icing on the cake when I applied.

btw, when did you go complete at UVA?

Thank you! Applied December 29th, I don't remember the exact date I went complete- it was literally only a few days later. I was accepted on January 8th, but I think the quick response was due to my VA residency status.

See you in Ann Arbor in a couple of months, maybe!

haha -- sounds good -- maybe I'll have to buy you a drink at the Brown Jug if I end up there -- last time I ate there I couldn't even buy a beer.

Also, visit UVA if you can. I always kind of figured Ann Arbor and Charlottesville to be similar locales (likely due to both of them ranking highly in "top places to live" surveys), but they really are not. Despite their both being considered college towns, I get a much more urban vibe from Ann Arbor as opposed to a borderline country vibe from C-ville. To qualify, this is based on only one visit to UVA.
