compared to LSN, it isn't accurate at all for me. I'm a mid-number splitter (3.1/163) and it seems like it gives me denies at places I have a shot, and "consider" at places I don't, again-when compared to LSN.

its a good starting point for a lot of people to see what school ranges to look at, but then you should dig deeper and look at applicants on LSN to see how people actually did

agreed. I think LSP is better for people who aren't splitters at all. Like for me, LSP says I won't get into Tennessee... but according to LSN it should be a pretty solid acceptance. I trust LSN more because it's actual applicants/data (assuming people don't lie) and LSP is more of plugging into a formula that has been made.

It depends. For me, based on the statistics, I was supposed to be an automatic reject at some of the schools I got accepted to but I got in. Soft factors help a lot!!!!

You have a good GPA, so you should prob retake and up your LSAT a little more. From the knowledge I have gathered, a high LSAT score is much more valuable than a high GPA.


On LSP you're at consider for GW/Wash/Fordham so who knows! Vandy and BU are probably a no. It seems that for schools of this caliber a 165+ is definitly the way to go. Maybe even higher.

Softs: I really don't know what law schools consider 'good' softs, but I worked 40+ hours a week the entire time of my undergrad in Escrow, Management, and another unique field.
BA in finance, minor in theatre. State school.

I KNOW some of these are long shots, but I figured I'd give my extensive list, and then trim down. I have fee waivers for the ones with + signs, so I figure I'll apply there either way...

Also, if there are any suggestions for places I might be a good fit with my numbers, I'd appreciate them

Interesting, I never thought about it that way, and it's a completely new idea to me.
The scenario you talk about seems kind of sectarian to me, with people only getting their information only from the sources that reflect their own views.
