Re: What are my odds?
I realize you might be limited geographically, but Cornell, Northwestern and even Michigan are worth a look. You should have a shot at Texas and Vanderbilt and a strong shot at George Washington.
Also, you might want to start a new thread. This one isn't checked frequently.
And are you an underrepresented minority?

I have to stay in the DC-Maryland area, so it needs to be GULC, GW or UMd.

Seriously? Apply to HYS as your target schools and CCN as your safeties.

Re: What are my odds?
Is there a better chance if I wait this cycle out? Apply Early Action to Cornell? I started reading around, I'm not a URM. I figure that if my lsac gpa is a 3.2 that I won't gain any significant boost in chances, as opposed to a 3.1something.

Re: What are my odds?
Dood, with those numbers I would throw apps at about T7 on down. Schools like Northwestern (with work experience), UVA, WUSTL seem to be very splitter friendly and if you apply NOW, I think you could have a good shot at getting accepted to at least one T14 if not more. Don't sell youself short and go for it!!Braindead wrote:Hi guys. I would like some input and critique. How badly would I be hurting my chances applying in Jan? I just graduated in Dec. and my grades will not be done till early Jan. I am a splitter so I know applying early would have been better but I had no choice. From where it stands, GPA is 2.8 and LSAT 172. I'm trying to aim for Minnesota, what are you my chances at this late in the process? I am from out of state. Not URM, are there any other schools I should be looking into with better chances? Thanks a lot.

Re: What are my odds?
Freshman year was at around 1.2--took four years off--and I finished off at around 3.55.
Is Wake Forest in the picture, or do i need a higher LSAT?
Thanks

Re: What are my odds?
Do I realistically have a chance at UC Davis? (yes I know it will probably be waitlist)
Feel free to be honest
