Re: What are my odds?
I need some advice regarding my current situation:
Undergrad GPA: 2.5
LSAT: 168
I have been working for the past two years for a defense contractor in trade compliance. I understand the negative impact my GPA will have on my application, however I do not have a gauge on whether I have a good chance of admission to a Tier 1 school. Will my work experience in a legal field at least help a little? Are there any schools in the Northeast I can target? I would like to pursue trade compliance post graduation.
Any thoughts are much appreciated.

Re: What are my odds?
Chances at t-50 (such as, SMU or UofH)?
URM: AA/male
3.47 GPA
avg. PT score (15-20 PTs): 151
Awaiting Dec. LSAT score (most likely 155+ range)

Re: What are my odds?
Hey TLS this is my first post. I am trying to find out my chances of cracking a T14 Law school. Im hoping that do to the down tick in aa male applications if I go 170+ I should be able to get in. Am I off? Any advice would be great.
URM: AA Male
UGPA: 3.0
Master GPA:3.3 MPA from American University
Softs: National Debate Team Awards Undergrad, Multiple large scale speaking engagements, Work in Local Government for past 2 years. Im not applying for at least one more cycle. Letter of rec from a former governor. State level politics experience. Campaign work. Community engagement experience. Started a tutoring company for low ses youth in hometown.
Im wondering what LSAT score I would need to go to georgetown, harvard, columbia or chicago.

georgetown is not a peer with those others, mid 160 could do it there. Other guys will want to see higher. AA helps, but GPA is a little low. practice until you are scoring around 170 and you'll have several T14s
