Do you have post-college work experience? Northwestern took a couple people this year who had a 175+ LSAT and a <2.9 GPA.

I really think NU and Georgetown are your only T14 chances with those numbers.

Have you considered a retake? 5 more points you're in at the lower T14, 7 more points you're looking at multiple

Would 4.09 and 163 have a decent shot at UT (I am not a URM or a TX resident)

I know it's impossible to figure out my odds without an LSAT score, but my main question is: what is the minimum score I will need to have a shot at Northwestern Law? I'm assuming nothing less of 168, but I have a feeling it might be min 170.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Definitely 170.

2 B.S. degrees from a highly regarded lib. arts school (Biology & Business Admin)

2.94 (2.78 lsdas), 172

Non-traditional (out of undergrad for 9 years, worked in the legal field the entire time)

Great LORs, one from a highly-regarded attorney (supervisor) and 2 great ones from undergrad professors.

Biggest ding is a DUI 5 years ago :(

I'm thinking addendum to address my being a moron with the DUI and an addendum to address the GPA (was a 3.6 my last 80 credits).

Due to my wife being in school, I'm confined to the central VA area, I'm realistically applying to U of Richmond and William & Mary. Any ideas on any scholly money from Richmond with me being a splitter?

Should I re-take and shoot for a 175-176, I think my GPA will keep me out of UVA even if I hit 180, but from I've seen on LSN I may have a chance at W&M.

Due to the slim chances at either W&M and UVA, should I ED to U of Richmond?

Thoughts??

Dont ED. I think with a 172. You have a great shot at W & M.

What kind of LSAT am I shooting for for CCN?

ED to UVa immediately; on that day, do a campus visit + interview with the dean or admissions director. You will have a decent shot man. UVa also has a really fast turnaround, so you'll know within 14 days whether you got admitted.

After the decision, you can consider further whether you'd like to ED to W&M (forget richmond). If you are waitlisted at UVa, you probably shouldn't ED to W&M. If you are downright rejected from UVa, then ED to W&M.

The reason why I say that you shouldn't ED to W&M if wait list is because I honestly think you have a decent enough shot if you turn your UVa app in immediately + do an interview.

Hey guys...

anyone know anything about Hofstra part-time? I didn't even bother applying full-time because I would not have been accepted. my lsat score is not exactly the best.

I applied mid-September for part-time. I graduated last year and took a full year off from school (so I am not non-traditional). My stat: 3.27 lsac gpa/149. East Asian, wasn't born in this country though.

Think Hofstra will be more forgiving to part-time applicants?

I also applied to Michigan State for PT. Hofstra, CUNY, and Michigan State are my three reaches. After that, it's mostly safety schools.

167/3.65
1 year WE at a law firm

Reaches
UPenn (ED?)
Northwestern (ED?)
Georgetown (ED?)

LSP 40-50%
Cornell
UT
Vanderbilt

LSP 50-70%
Washington-Missouri
GWU
Boston
W&M
Fordham

My top priority is getting into the school that would give me the greatest possible chance at DC or NY biglaw

My Question Is: To which school should I apply ED, and which schools are my best bets for (1) getting accepted and (2) biglaw?

LSAT: 176
GPA: 3.63

Currently in senior year at a good state school. GPA can go as high as 3.7 and as low as 3.6 (most likely 3.6ish). I have my real estate license and am planning on taking 1-2 years off working (not necessarily real estate). I'm not an URM. Do I have a shot at YHS? How about CCN? Am I guaranteed the rest of the t-14 or will my gpa hurt me?

Probably not YHS, maybe CCN, good shot at the rest of T14, esp splitter-friendly NU.

Mine are LSAT: 171, GPA 3.89 - where's the highest I can go? UG now, but a lot of strong softs/recommendations

3.22/166

Any chance at W&M or Emory?

I'm a Virginia resident, two years WE, LGBT diversity statement, strong PS.

I know it's kind of a long-shot with my GPA, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Maybe I'm misreading something but I'm under the impression that UVA does not interview.
