172 LSAT (taken in Dec)
3.74 overall GPA / 3.71 LSDAS undergrad GPA
BS and MS in accounting from top 5 program
CPA and CISA
3+ years in big 4 public accounting (which blows...biglaw hours, crappy pay, slow advancement)
non-URM (middle class white male...)
ok softs, married w/ 2 kids
problem--applications will not be in until mid-late Jan (i.e. right before deadlines)
No academic LORs (been out of school for nearly 4 years), but the LORs I have should be solid
Planning on applying to most/all T14 and 2-3 safety schools
Well? Anyone want to read their magic 8-ball?

I don't think this'll be much of a problem in terms of admissions, but might cause you to receive significantly less money at some schools than you would've if you'd applied earlier.Chairman wrote: problem--applications will not be in until mid-late Jan (i.e. right before deadlines)

Small chance at HYS, but possible.
Probably WL at Columbia b/c you are relatively late in the cycle. May get in w/LOCI and a well executed app.
In everywhere else, some with $.
The key will be getting everything in as soon as you can and having a really well put together application that presents a coherent picture. You might even consider a diversity statement to talk about how having kids has influenced you if that isn't covered somewhere else in your app.
