Where else can I realistically apply? 3.57/159/163/170
Hello, all,
Schools to which I'm applying: UConn, Univ. of Washington, BU, UC Davis, Minnesota, Wisconsin, W&L, Fordham
I've taken the LSAT 3 times: June '08, Sept. '09, and Dec. '09. I was well-prepared in Sept. and shouldn't have had to re-take it, but I had an episode with a test center distraction during my last section (and, coincidentally, my worst: LG). I got a 159, 163, and a 170 this time around. With a 3.57, do you think I should apply to schools rated higher? What do you think my chances are for a T14? Thoughts on my chances at USC or UCLA?
Thanks and I appreciate any advice.

wow I thought you had a 1.57GPA. You have a good chance at the lower T14

Write a decent LSAT addendum and you have a 3.57 and a 170. Shoot for the Top 14, I bet you're in somewhere. Congrats on the new score.

BUMP to ask about UCLA. I know that I'm in their range for GPA, but I'm definitely on the lower end. Is it true that UCLA values GPA more than a lot of other institutions? What do you think are my chances of getting in there?
Thanks!
Thanks!

yes they do...
this is last yr: http://ucla.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/0809/
this is the yr be4: http://ucla.lawschoolnumbers.com/stats/0708/
since u don't see a certain number that is auto accept for lsat (i.e. x=170 or something like that), it is a reasonable assumption that ucla seems to value things other than lsat...most notable, gpa
hope this helps, good luck
