Off the top of my head, I know Boalt, Cornell, Cardozo, and Lewis & Clark offer travel stipends. I'm sure other schools do too.

You might try requesting a travel stipend even if a school doesn't offer it outright. I've heard of folks doing this successfully.

You can always call and ask...say you want to visit the school but are concerned about the costs involved.

Only to select applicants with high #'s.. I asked and was told there's no way to apply for the stipend, you would receive a letter if selected.

I live in the state of Texas, and they offered a $200 travel stipend.
Considering I know of people who got a higher scholarship and didn't get a travel stipend, I don't know that it has to do with numbers.

Anybody know anything about Cornell's travel stipend? I applied for it, but judging from some former threads, it sounds like they are stingy with their stipend money. Anybody gotten a stipend from them?

How does Vanderbilt's travel stipend work? Is it need based, distance based, etc?
