Top Law Schools

This past weekend I visited NYC and attended NYU and Fordham's ASW. Here are some pics of the swag bags I received. I was actually pretty impressed with the care and detail of the NYU bag. Even the mints had the school's insignia engraved onto them.

NYU Bag:

Shirt (shrink wrapped into circle)
Pen
Jelly beans
Leather Bound notebook with "NYU Law" engraved cover
Coffee Mug

Fordham Bag:

Shirt (shrink wrapped into shape of gavel)
Small laptop Mouse

Thats pretty cool. But please, never say swag bag again. it makes you sound like a douche...

Oh wow that makes me reconsider going to the NYU ASW...

Also, I do not agree that your use of term swag bag is douchey at all. Not sure if the above poster knows that it stands for "stuff we all get"...

Furthermore, I hope you wisely choose your school based on the swag. Makes good practice for when you choose a firm based on where they take you to dinner during offer sell events.

+1. You should def go with that place that has the shirt in the shape of a gavel so that NYU has to keep admitting people

Either NYU has stepped up their game or you went to a more "special" ASW than I did last year. I think the only thing I walked away with that was worth keep was the t-shirt shrink wrapped into the shape of a hockey puck. I could have used that purple mug and just scraped off the NYU and added an NU decal.

lol thank you, wasn't really my intention to sound like a douche,

i was hoping others would share pics of what they got though!

will be posting more, planning on going to UCLA's reception next week, and perhaps georgetown and UT-Austin as well

Something is wrong if you don't have like 10 WL/Lexis mug already.

But this swag bag is nice. Better than most firm callback bags.

So I went to UCLA's admit day this week. Although I was pretty disappointed by the lack of swag they offered, I was quite impressed with the campus and professors. Anyways, I received an awesome folder that holds a pencil and a notepad within it. It is very practical and something which I would probably use while in school.

Also, OP, might you be going to Columbia's ASW soon? I'm assuming you applied/got in considering your NYU acceptance.

Haha NEVER ASSUME! Im in that pile of people who haven't heard back at all, and I even sent in a LOCI recently. I do wish I could go though. Anyways if you do go take some pics of the swag and post them!!!!

Ah, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be insensitive lol :p. It looks like you've got a great cycle so far, and I'm extra jealous about NYU

God I miss law school visits. Although the Barbri/Lexis/Westlaw tables are close seconds.

Just realized the last two letters of ASW are the first two letters of swag. It can be shortened to ASWag.

Or switch the acronym to ASS (Accepted Student Swag)

As in "Dude I got so much ASS last weekend. It was so awesome I took pics and posted it on TLS."

Why aren't there more pictures in this thread? I would contribute but haven't been to a single ASW yet.
