That's true - I guess you could wear a nice pair of jeans with a dressy shirt.

You don't dress up for an accepted students day. It is supposed to be a fun and informative day in which the school is trying to impress you, and not the other way around. You already did your part, and were rewarded with an acceptance. Definitely treat it informally. Sure, don't wear flip flops or something extremely casual, but definitely keep it casual.

And to the person who said no jeans, you couldn't be more wrong. I saw a ton of kids in jeans at the accepted students days I went to. Nothing wrong with it.

Women probably wear business casual to evening events, and casual clothes during the day (w/ comfortable shoes if you have tours or other walking planned).

Heels are acceptable, not necessary. No flip flops or shorts.

You're already in. Look presentable and be taken seriously... but remember it is now the school's turn to impress YOU.

At UMich ASW I wore jeans and flats every day, as did almost every other female.
