Thought I'd start the April thread. Who's going? If you went to the Feb. or March ASW, what were your thoughts?

I'm going. I visited back in the Fall before I was admitted, so it will be interesting to now view what they have to offer through the lens of an admitted student.

What was your overall impression of life in Lexington? I'm deciding between W&L and Emory. W&L's correspondence has been very impressive. Now that the schools are tied in the rankings, the campus atmosphere will be a bigger factor my decision.

I went to ASW over the weekend and fell in love with the place immediately. I'd explain W&L and Lexington to you, but I can't do it justice. My advice: try not to think about it too much until you visit. If it's for you, you'll know. If it's not, you'll know that as well. It wasn't anything like I had anticipated. If it puts you at ease, I was impressed with everything.

For those of you accepted to W&L, congrats. I'm a 1L at W&L currently, and I'm posting because I need a roommate beginning August 1 (my current roommate is moving in with his girlfriend next year). It's a really nice townhouse, built about 5 years ago. View of the Shenandoah Mts. from the balcony, you'd have your own bathroom, there's a washer/dryer, etc.

If you're interested and/or have any questions let me know. I'll check back periodically to see if there's any interest. I'm also going to make a post on the W&L Law Notices, but TLS is a lot more user-friendly so I decided to knock out a post here first.

If you're coming to April Open House and want to check the place out, that should work for me.

I'll be there too! Excited to see the school -- I've been really impressed with W&L's transparency and their correspondence. Just gotta figure out if I can see myself in Lexington.

Hey! You should have received the email on Friday afternoon. We'll all be in County Inn & Suites. On Monday they are sending additional hotel information.
