According to the schedule there is a reading assignment for one of the classes. We will get the reading assignment when we register. "Someone will be called on!"MissLucky wrote:is there a reading assignment or anything? i feel like i read on one of these boards that ASW I had a reading?? thanks

F that noise. I'd rather wait until real class actually starts before I make an ass out of myself.er doctor wrote:According to the schedule there is a reading assignment for one of the classes. Getting in @ 9:10 AM on Thurs -- anyone else coming in around then / want to split a cab to AA? I'm staying at the Campus Inn, too. (TLS party, anyone?)

For those of you who will be here on Thursday, make sure you some to the SFF (Student-Funded Fellowship) Auction. It runs from 7:30-10 though you don't have to be there for the whole thing.
It was by far my favorite event of ASW last year. Also, there should be booze.

Argh...so apparently I'm technologically inept (I am), because I can't send out a mass PM to everyone.

Also, if you are getting in in the morning/afternoon hours, you can walk over to Wolverine Tower (the tall, abandoned looking office building next to the hotel where the Flyer drops you off), stand in front (there a sign for "The Ride"), and take the #36 bus (it's called the Wolverine Tower Shuttle) to the Michigan Union, located across the street from the Law School. It is $1.50 without an M Card. Schedule below:

Haha I had to wait for later. I booked the flight without checking the times so I'll be sitting in Detroit for a couple hours.rui wrote:Ah, had forgotten about the flyer. Bananagram -- thanks for the bus info!
If my flight gets delayed I'll be on the 12:15/30 with you -- I'll be the kid from California wearing way too much clothing (heavy gray jacket) and carrying a baby blue track bag.

I haven't been to an ASW before and I won't be able to make it today due to work. What does an event like this look like? Do they just lead you around to different areas for different activities, or is it more free form where you choose where you want to go?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
