I misspelled "United States of Ameica"!!!!! ahhhh! I checked it like 40 times and didn't catch it. blargh.

It was in my address. Do you guys know if this is gonna hurt my app???

I dunno, it seems more funny than serious to me. If your applying to yale and harvard I would worry a little, if not, I wouldnt sweat it. also, sttoopppp loookkkinnggg attt senttt apppps, you cant change things on them and if u see an error like this, even if its really silly and not problematic, youll endd up killing urself.

Not looking at sent apps is the only rule I've stuck to during this whole process.

I wouldn't worry about it . . . I've made much worse mistakes and didn't seem to seem to disqualify me anywhere.

You should ask Martha Coakley if misspelling place names is a big deal.

the real question here is why did you find it necessary to spell out United States of America in the first place?

it won't hurt your app don't worry (at most a tiny bit if it's the first thing they see)

Noticed a misplaced word in my PS for one school. Got the acceptance later today.

I feel the same, Blue. I wrote about my class in "2055". I can't believe I missed it. 'Was going to email them to apologize, but then I'd be pointing out the mistake even more. It's amazing how neurotic this process makes you.

the guy who put "Washington Mutual" (or whatever it was) for his "Visa Type" still got in. (I think)

Step 1) Submit apps
Step 2) Mix strong drink
Step 3) Relax
Step 4) Don´t look at submitted apps
