I actually wouldn't be surprised if it was at LSU- purple and gold frat flag in the back gives evidence towards that argument.

The flag colors are specific for the fraternity, not the school; it would be identical at every school. Now I've probably outted myself as a former fratbro (but I never dressed, nor will ever dress, like that).

This is a trick-question as well as oxymoronic thread.

Bro's don't go to law school, they don't have to. A true bro doesn't need to prepare for that lsat junk, study for 3 years in LS, pass the bar, deal with all that character and fitness malarkey, interview, "work" and so on. Lame. The quintessential bro has family money and secures a healthy salary as a "consultant" for one of the less-demanding family businesses.

So your answer is that's a stupid question.

Obnoxious partying males who are often seen at college parties. When they aren’t making an ass of themselves they usually just stand around holding a red plastic cup waiting for something exciting to happen so they can scream something that demonstrates how much they enjoy partying. Nearly everyone in a fraternity is a bro but there are also many bros who are not in a fraternity. They often wear a rugby shirt and a baseball cap. It is not uncommon for them to have spiked hair with frosted tips.

Bros actually chose this name for themselves as they often refer to each other as "bro" even though they are not related.
I couldn't go to sleep last night because some bros at the party next door kept screaming, "Whoooooo!!! YEAAHHHHH! Whooooooo!"

You are way off base here. The difference between bro's and guidos is easily distinguished. Just because both share enjoyment in smoking j's and slaying bitties does NOT mean that they are the same.

There are differences between fratty and bro

1. Don't have to be in a frat to be a bro. Being in a frat does not make you a bro. An unusually high percentage of bros are in frats due to the fact that the frat lifestyle is conducive to bro'ing.

2. Being a bro is not about what you wear. Most bro's naturally wear brolo due to its stylishness and comfort. Wannabees equate clothing with brohood because it the only way they can pretend to be bro's.

3. Bro's usually don't really give f*ck about anything. However, they are generally smart and can get good grades, plagued by the itis, prone to crushing brews, slaying sorority chicks(whether in a frat or not), possessing a general unexplained swagger.

4. Fratstars are bro's
edit. fratstars go on month long benders, drink, smoke, and bang more girls than the everyone. Yet they seem content doing these things without advertising them to the world via douchey clothing etc.

i feel like the thing to do here is just go to wherever you want, and find the bros therein. Theres always gonna be bros around, they wont be the majority anywhere, and choosing a school based on bro-ing prob isnt your best move.

Thanks for the graphic representation, but I know what both fraternities' flags look like.

I assumed it was Sig Chi because:
1) Most of the time at large events (like the Carolina Cup), nobody puts up their actual flag because wandering sorostitutes wouldn't recognize them.
2) it looked like blue on gold.

I did a quick search and you are right, it's an SAE flag (not their ΦΑ flag though). But apparently, it's a bunch of Phi Sigs who just happened to be in front of the SAE flag for the picture. Link
