Hi all—strongly considering leaving a V10 firm in NY to go to a smaller market next spring after EOY bonuses post, and am wondering if anyone has any experience with the timeline for doing this. I’ve already started to put out some feelers (though the pandemic interrupted this process). When do people usually start looking?

Also, does anyone have any experience with leaving before EOY bonuses post and negotiating that?
