Lateral from NY to London

Post by mccllln2 » Tue Sep 01, 2020 9:26 pm

Hi all,

Soon to be third year cap markets associate looking to lateral to London asap. Does anyone have a recruiter recommendation and/or any other advice? I'm just beginning the process, feeling a little overwhelmed...

Thanks in advance.

It may well be difficult to lateral "asap" to London, since hiring can't really be accelerated for convenience. That said, there is hiring out there and recruiters are reaching out, though there's no one that I'd recommend. You'll probably get pretty good milage out of looking at the actual hiring pages of the firms that are here and seeing if they list an opening, but a recruiter will likely be able to speed it up a lot and know what current market is for benefits and COLA, etc. If your firm will permit a move that's the easiest path, of course.
