Lateraling from London to the US (non-NY)

Post by starchild » Sun Jan 12, 2020 3:27 pm

Does anybody have any experience lateraling from a non-US market to the US? I want to move back for family reasons and am currently talking to a recruiter. I purposefully made a trip recently to see family/interview with a few firms. Curious to hear anybody else’s experience with lateraling to the US from London or elsewhere.

I considered this but my firm is NY-based and although they have an office in the market I want to go to, the office is pretty small and the corporate practice is limited. Wouldn’t be ideal but if lateraling is too difficult then it’s something I would consider.
