Is the only way to apply to a lateral position via associate referral? I want to apply to a team there (they’ve lost a handful of associates this year), but I don’t know how to go about it. I don’t know anyone who currently works there.

Do people sometimes just hit up their recruiting contact?

Is there a posted position? That is probably a good first step. And just because folks have left a group, doesn’t mean firm will replace them.

I’d also venture to say that the vast majority of firms will post a job opening before hiring someone (even if the posting is just as a formality, e.g., if they have someone waiting in wings for the gig).

I’ve only ever seen their Trust and Estates Associate position in Boca posted and they’ve hired many many people during the time I’ve been looking.

And even that position is buried in a link with the staff positions.

They don’t really have a clear “apply to these opportunities” page
