Hey everyone... Thought this thread needed to be made because the only Hastings thread is currently an "early action" thread.
Anyways, I am complete at Hastings with a 163 / 3.71.
Please post your stats and status of your applications (I know there already has been some acceptances/deferrals).
Good luck!

Tower. Probably cheaper than anywhere else that's close and I'm not picky with living conditions.

Applied to EC was deferred.
Also, I was wondering how many total applied for EC and how many got in. From this site and lawschooolnumbers it looks like something like 7-12 got in depending on how many are the same people. Does anyone know how big their EC pool tends to be?

Yeah I will probably either do a studio or try and find a few people interested in getting an apartment. I lived in a studio after undergrad and it got kinda lonely after awhile.

Deferred with a 3.25/163.. Fingers crossed for a better December score.
When I visited Hastings and spoke with someone from the admissions committee, I believe she said they take 40 or so applicants EC. She also emphasized that those that they take EC tend to be on the higher end of the numbers spectrum.
Take it for what it's worth.

3.34. Waiting on LSAT, but going to apply no matter what the score ends up being.... might as well try, right?
McAllister Tower or whatever it's called... it's all linoleum and such, isn't it? It's not any cheaper than regular apartments... I might consider it the first year for convenience, but I've really been looking forward to not having to move all of my crap every year. I think I'd prefer the edge of the Tenderloin, cheaper. But the Tower has its perks... offices are in it, etc.

anyone know how hastings is with merit scholarships? based on LSN they seem pretty stingy.. theyre a pretty top choice for me but im really hesitant about going if i get admitted unless i get offered a little money (at the very least to cover the ridiculous out of state costs even if i get instate the 2nd year).
