I'm waiting.

Have you heard from FIU yet? I'm also waiting... I checked law school numbers and it seems as though no one has received a reply from them.

Still nothing. And they didn't even respond to my email asking them when they were going to get back to us with a status on the apps. Maybe I should call so that they can hang up on me or something.

i have a friend who got in recently, but I am not sure on the dates. I know she took the June test.

I called their office before Christmas and they said they would not issue any decisions before the holiday. I was under the impression that they were in no hurry. The person I spoke with was very nice FWIW.

I hope we hear from them soon.... I hate this waiting game

Got a generic, form email saying that my application was complete and that it takes between 2 and 8 weeks to review completed applications.

The first of October. As soon as the app became available. I felt like responding to the generic email with a smartass comment like "Since it's been 12 weeks since I went complete, could you please tell me the decision that was reached on December 1, 2009?" but, nah.

I applied 2 weeks ago and mailed the signed certification letter w/ $20 app fee on the 9th. I havent heard a thing (no email...nothing) and the check still hasnt cleared.

I applied 10/24. I didn't hear from them until the acceptance (with the exception of a holiday greeting card ).

Nothing about scholly in the acceptance.

any new updates? Also is the part time program easier to gain acceptance to?

Looks like there are a few acceptances on LSN. I applied back in November and still haven't heard anything so you probably have some waiting to do.

I'm sure the PT program is easier, but I think you will get into FT.

I did not finish my application. I never sent the certification page and never sent in my app fee. I only sent two letters of rec also. I was never considered complete at FIU. However, I recieved a letter in the mail yesterday that said that I was accepted.

I'm in the same boat. I submitted my application towards the end of December, and submitted my certification page and application fee in the first week of January and the check hasn't even cleared. I wrote the admissions office and was informed that all of my documentation has been received and is ready for reviewing but there is no online checker system so to find out the status of my app, I would have to call or email them.

I emailed admissions last week and received a response this morning that my application was complete and should receive a decision w/in 2-8 weeks.

FYI, the letter was mailed to my permanent address, i.e. mom's house.

I'm pretty much in the same boat as a lot of the other people. I applied right around 12/20 and about 2 weeks ago I called to check and see if my application was complete and they said they had everything but did not receive my application fee. I waited a few more days and called to check again and they still had not received it even though it was sent almost a month ago. I sent them a new check and over the phone the lady said that my application was complete and that is all I have heard so far. .
