I went to HS in Lincoln but have been in MN for a while. I'm pretty sure i'll get in-state at NE because my parents and extended family are still in Lincoln.

I don't know a ton about UNL law but i have a few friends there who like it. I'll definitely visit if i get in.

I applied to UNL. I submitted 11/12 and went complete 12/4. I have never been to Nebraska, and I'm actually from Georgia. I like the idea of going to school in Nebraska, though. From what I hear the job market is still pretty strong there.

Yeah, I get the impression the job market is still going strong here.

If you know you want to practice in Nebraska, UNL is a great option. There's really not much competition.

I applied 11/1 and went complete a couple days later. Out of state applicant.

UNL looks like an impressive school. But, I do have one big concern. I talked to them awhile back and they told that its VERY difficult to get instate tuition at UNL. The lady actually told me I'd have to marry someone from the state lol.

Anyway, good luck and make sure you let us know if you get a decision.

Yeah, it's great for Lincoln and Omaha.

A word of caution: an ex of mine is a 3L at UNL and is just outside the top 10 in her class and is having a lot of trouble finding a job. I think it's just the market, though.

I'm waiting for UNL, too, hoping to hear before Christmas. I am a resident, did undergrad at Creighton. Have kids, so I'd rather not move far right now. Good luck all.

It would be nice to get a decision soon. From looking at LSN it seems that decisions are being made.

I got a phone call today! Yay...I was surprised, they emailed only a few days ago to say my file was going under review.

Yes, someone called though I'm ashamed to say I forgot her name. And she did notify me of my scholarship amount, also.

I found out that I would get in-state tuition if I go. Yippiee!

In today via snail mail. No phone call for me.

I bet the scholarship makes up for the lack of call , eh?

But I want a call, too...it would be a super nice touch.

It was actually a voicemail-about a minute long...just said congratulations on getting admitted and said I get a dean's scholarship.

I called her back just to say thanks. She was very, very nice and seemed happy that I called.
