Didn't find a thread on them either, so here it is! Just got in today via status checker.

I just got in also. RD 168, 3.00

Has anyone had trouble getting their certification form and check processed by the school?

During last years cycle I applied to Maine. They lost my check and certification form. So I sent them again. I never heard from the school once. Never got a status checker, never got a confirmation email and most importantly was never rejected, admitted or waitlisted. In august they sent my parents a bill for my 50 dollar application fee. An application for which they never rendered a decision. I ended up deciding to put law school off for a year so it ended up not being that big of a deal.

This cycle, I submitted my application and mailed my form and check a full month ago and have still heard nothing. They haven't even replied to my emails. What is up with them?

So today I went back and checked my status checker, and it went back to under review. Does anyone know what is up with that? Has anyone else had this problem?

I hope this doesn't happen to me - I just applied there a few days ago, and wouldn't wanna be throwing away $50 for nothing - maybe u should give them a call

No, mine still says Accepted 12/08, and says my letter was mailed today.

Glad to have an acceptance before Christmas.

Admitted. The letter was dated 12/28 and I received it on 01/02.

Accepted today via mail.

I was accepted last week, but for kicks I checked the status checker again today and noticed "Dean's letter" mailed on Feb. 1. This might mean some scholly amounts may have just been mailed. I don't think I've been this anxious for mail since I waited for my secret decoder ring.

Like others, Maine is one of my top choices, but may come down to cost.

Sorry to disappoint you but I already got this letter and all it said was asking for your acceptance deposit by April 15th, and that "scholarship decisions are made on a rolling basis beginning in March."

Maine has a pretty reasonable cost. I got accepted back in December and thought about it, but I'm not sure I can deal with those brutal winters, like the ones going on right now. I'm from New Mexico, I don't know how well I would do with the cold. Congrads to all of you.

Accepted today via status checker. Anyone heard anything about scholarship money? Does the school have any big visiting events planned? I would like to make a visit asap but would also like to meet possible classmates.

I was in the middle of my English class and did a fist pump into the air.

In today. GPA 3.4 and a 156 lsat. Pretty stoked, first acceptance so far.

Has anyone heard about scholarships?

I got a letter saying I have a financial aid award, but their online "mainestreet" seems to have issues. I hope it includes a scholly of some sort.

yeah, i couldn't really log into mainstreet.

Make sure you visit before attending.
