I'm also in review as of 12/4. A top choice for me since I want to stay in Texas and most likely study intellectual property. Fingers crossed.

"For the 2009-2010 academic year, Texas residents enrolled in the full-time division paid $21,030 in tuition, while non-residents were charged $28,440. The school does its part in helping students with these expenses by providing grants and scholarships in varying amounts to more than half of the student body." Per

Princeton Review's Top 172 Law Schools has 84% of students receiving aid. 38% of aid is merit-based. 45% receiving scholarships.

No, look at LSN. You need T-14 numbers for merit scholarship consideration.

Just a word to those whose status just went to "in review": Houston is notorious for slow application cycles. I went "in review" on 11/2 last application cycle (2008) and was not accepted until February. Good luck to all!

I got my status checker this morning (they were the first to send of all of my applications from this weekend), but I'll definitely make a note that they're slow and to not even look at it for like a month.

Because they are cheap. It's a win-win either way. They either get a boost to their LSAT #s, or they don't lose any money.

Just went to "In Review" as well. Have to say they are one of my top choices for their great health law program and as a Texas resident, at sticker they are still cheaper than many offers I have with scholarships.
Anyone know how long it usually takes them to go from in review to DR? It looks like according to LSN their first admits were the beginning of the year so lets hope we all will be hearing in a month. Cheers!
