Got an acceptance as well. Impressed with their communication this cycle. Congrats to all those accepted and best of luck to those standing by. As a native Houstonian who would attend for free, UH is extremely tempting.

Nervous as well. For those that have gotten responses- how long did it take for you to go from "In Review" to whatever it says when they make a decision?

I think the lag time was about a week. Maybe even less.

I've been under review since 12/18. What inopportune timing, with the holidays and all. Now that others have gone under review since the New Year began, my decision should be imminent, at least I hope that it is.

I hope it is too. I went complete 12/10 and have just been sitting, waiting, wishing for some movement.

Originally went "in review" on 12/18. Now it says "in review" 2/15. Any thoughts? Just moving me from early to regular decision??

do you mind sharing numbers and when you applied?

i've been, like a lot of people, in review for over a month and starting to get a little annoyed/worried

in the other thread, someone posted that someone at U of H said that the date change was just a system update for when your file changes reviewers, if i remember correctly...i don't think it is indicitive of anything other than they haven't lost our file

mine updated and i wasn't early...applied early november (couple days after early deadline) and went complete mid- november

Congrats! Are you a TX resident? (The other poster who went DR and was accepted today was)

I'm guessing at this point Houston needs to fill their residency requirements before taking more OOS-ers.
(FTR, I'm an OOS splitter and way borderline so I'm not shocked at my long wait)

I don't know if Houston will grant me in-state or not. I grew up in Dallas but I have been in college in Utah for quite a few years.

Status checker says I'm admitted as of today. Don't know when I went under review, but I applied early January. I'm OOS.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
