Same here. I submitted the goods in late October, e-mail confirmation in 2nd week of November and haven't heard anything. Anxious to hear back due to iffy numbers (151/3.22)

From what I've heard they do not even start going through applications until January 1st. This seems to be backed by the fact on LSN that the first wave of acceptances started somewhere around 01/22. If they keep to the same timeline then we should be hearing pretty soon. Keep your fingers crossed.

I received an email today from admissions saying that my file is complete and a decision will be sent via snail mail. Boo. Although I guess that's one less status checker I have to obsessively check...

Re: Syracuse 2010
Sorry, I could see how what I said could be confusing. I wasn't sure how they would send their decision, so when I got the email today saying it would be via snail mail, I knew the decision wouldn't be given online. Perhaps status checker wasn't the best term to use. Sorry...

I received the acceptance packet today. It came with a t-shirt. I'll probably be withdrawing soon because 'Cuse is so expensive and I've been accepted to some other schools. The shirt as a nice touch

Congrats on your acceptance! How long did it take you to find out? If you don't mind, what are your numbers?

WHY IS CUSE SO EXPENSIVE?

Re: Syracuse 2010
Obviously because some people will pay that price to go there, and there are enough of them each year to justify an absurdly high tuition.

How'd you find out? Only via snail mail?
