I'm beginning to believe my application has been misplaced...I went complete on 11-9-09 and thought my numbers were solid enough (167/3.2). I emailed them to ask about the status of it (based on other people that have been admitted) and they wrote me a very generic "we'll get to it when we get to it" kind of thing.

That's interesting. :-\ I'm assuming you have the status checker. Have you tried calling?

If it makes you feel any better, I went UR in October and didn't get a word until last week. I'm 171/3.5, so I wasn't too worried about my stats with Baylor at all. I guess they're just taking their dear sweet time with those of us with higher numbers?

K i got accepted before via status checker, just got the physical acceptance today w/ $21,000 per year, renewable with a 2.5. My numbers are 3.58 / 163, and I applied towards the end of October / beginning of Nov.

Checked my status today, and it still says it is complete and I will receive a decision letter when they make a decision. But the seat deposit drop downs and others have disappeared (all that's left is "Apply Now" and "Check Application Status"), so I guess that means a rejection

Same here. Can anyone confirm that. If so I am a bit disturbed. 164/3.73 here. They are giving full rides to people with lower numbers (no offense to those people, congrats) Its just not a good sign for my cycle if that is what the disappeared links mean.

Baylor is the lowest ranked school I applied to and a ding there would be pretty ominous for the rest of my apps

Happened to me as well. My guess is that the admissions offices were tired of answering questions about the rest of the material on there, so took it all off to avoid any confusion.

Rejected 1/7. I thought it was a little rude that they gave me my decision via email and that it was at 7:30 am. My blackberry woke me up 30 mins before I needed to be up

Ouch. What happened with your status checker? Did any of the links disappear beforehand, like what many are describing in the above posts? Good luck with the rest of your applications.

I was accepted awhile back and my status checker changed. It now only has the Apply Now and Check Status links. It used to say Congratulations!! but now it says a Decision has been reached....etc etc.

My status checker did the weird link change thing last Friday and I got the letter today. I am in with full tuition. So it is not a bad thing.

I was very surprised to hear back so soon because I sent my application on 12/28 and found out on 1/4.

My application went complete on 12/28 and I was accepted on the 4th too.

So far all my other schools have been silent. I'm kinda hoping I can do better than Baylor. Something about Texas kinda scares me. (You know, chainsaw massacres and the like). I applied because they seemed like they were really interested, and they might give me some money. I hit up some of the T14, and I'm hoping it wasn't too late for one of them to accept me.

my status checker just changed to "a decision has been made and mailed", but it never said congratulations you've been accepted. if i was rejected i would have gotten word via email, right?

Anyone have any news lately? Nothing ever happened after the whole "status check" format change so it didn't mean a rejection. It seems like its been quiet for awhile now.

It`s probabbly Waitlist/Reject, otherwise you'll find it through status checker
