Wayne Hutchinson called me today with a 75% tuition + additional $7500 for the 1st yr. He said there was a good chance the scholly would bump up to 100% later in the admission cycle. No strings attached on the $...no GPA I need to maintain. He said, "just show up and it's yours..." LOL, Thanks! I'm not sure about stellar but my numbers are attractive to MSU...161, 3.5. but I have 2 grad degrees and some good public service work experience under my belt. I'm out of state in CA but I'm looking to move back to Grand Rapids after being away for the past 8 yrs. I've applied to some schools that rank higher but it's tough to say no to the practical implications of coming out of school low on debt...especially since I plan on staying in GR.Philaw wrote:Congratulations, by the way! Alas, that's not me on LSN...that guy is white, while I, too am a URM as a Chicano/Mex. American. lol, didn't realize you were going to law school to be an investigative detective...You may end up seeing me up there, but as for right now, your trail runs cold. It used to say Application complete with my completion date.... Anyone else having this issue?
I tried calling admissions, but called too late, and nobody was around to pick up. I'm going to try again tomorrow if nothing has changed.
